Île Perrot is a flourishing off-island borough situated just past Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. Over the last 20 years, property prices on the Island of Montreal (including parts of the West Island) have increased dramatically, leaving many homebuyers to explore off-island options. This includes Île Perrot and the borough has experienced a lot of growth in a short amount of time. New housing projects dot the landscape, and many first-time buyers are looking to this borough to scoop up a spacious property at a fraction of cost.
While Île Perrot might not be as developed as other neighbourhoods in the West Island, it’s quickly catching up. New outlet stores, supermarkets, and daycares have recently opened, as a means of accommodating this growing community.
