Île Bizard is a tiny island situated just north of the Pierrefonds-Roxboro district. The real estate market in this area has evolved over the last decade as more properties have been built, although the borough remains dedicated to preserving the unspoiled nature on the island.
There are two ways to get to Île Bizard. You can take the Jacques Bizard Bridge from Pierrefonds or take the seasonal ferry from Laval. You’ll notice mid-range homes immediately once you cross the bridge, but if you venture to the remote areas, you’ll find sprawling luxury mansions across the waterfront.
Residents can also enjoy the 200-hectare park, which features walking trails, parks, and even a beach! While most inhabitants work in Montreal, Île Bizard represents provides a welcoming relief from the stress and commotion of the big city.
